Jagdschloss Wirtshaus Biergarten in Munich

On New Year's Eve I had ordered a schnitzel, fried potatoes and cranberries for 6 p.m. in the Wirtshaus am Rosengarten (I was sick and couldn't leave the house). The food came in a paper bag at 4:50 p.m., was lukewarm, NO cranberries, the schnitzel was tough and the fried potatoes were partly still raw. For 22 euros !! Really a cheek! Never again will I order something to eat there 😠

Unfortunately by far the worst experience I've ever had with a delivery service! One dish was dry, the wiener schnitzel and the Kaiserschmarren were mediocre, so really not worth the price. When we wanted to clarify the situation on the phone, the boss got cranky and just hung up. Even when Lieferando tried again to smooth things over, nothing could be done. There are many good restaurateurs in Munich who are worth supporting. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not one of them

Absolute world class the dishes! Great price-performance ratio :-) We came across the restaurant by chance and were absolutely thrilled. We have been ordering regularly since then and have never been disappointed. Hats off to the whole team and we are happy to recommend and often!

We ordered half the duck and the Kaiserschmarren on Boxing Day and were more than positively surprised. The food came quickly, was still hot and delicious! And that although it was once transported through half the city. The man on the phone and the supplier were very friendly and courteous and the handwritten Christmas greeting on the packaging was a nice gift :) All in all, a great end to the holidays, thank you very much and keep it up!

Ordered via Lieferando. Advised delivery time 60 min. After 35 minutes the food was already there and delicious. Not very cheap, however, which leads to a star deduction.

Please do not choose this restaurant, not good food and awful service. I reccommended to everyone, spend the money somewhere else.

A larger order was placed for a company. The food was very good and the portion sizes more than enough. Keep it up 👏🏻

Ordered at 7.40 pm, the delivery time stated was 50 minutes. After 2 hours the order is still not there. The gentleman on the phone grumbles at you unfriendly that you don't need to be surprised, that everyone would wait so long and that you shouldn't order anymore. Once and never again!

The food always came later than announced after a few calls the man even insulted and yelled at my girlfriend. Then it was agreed that we actually wanted to cancel, but was ultimately not done and the food arrived cold and sloppy.

Very nice restaurant, well decorated and food is just excellent. A must-try place when you visit Westpark.

Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't convince with relatively high prices and rather mediocre quality. The staff was so unfriendly and slow that we unfortunately didn't really want to stay longer after dinner.

Unfortunately we cannot rate the food in this restaurant, which we didn't get after 70 minutes of waiting and left. Despite the great understanding of the waitress, I can unfortunately only give one star. We weren't the only ones who left the restaurant hungry. Not a nice experience!

A wonder! Fresh out of the oven. The service was friendly and quick. The reports of the arrogance of the staff are true. That was the reason why we rarely visited the restaurant even though we live close by. If the friendliness continues, we come more often.

After a short visit to tables that were not cleaned and therefore not disinfected, the owner approached us in an extremely outrageous manner .. as far as masks were concerned, although he initially didn't wear them himself, at the opening of his speech, because we were just putting them on on the way to the toilet. The address slips are also not stored in accordance with data protection regulations. In any case, we were approached so aggressively by the owner and he even demanded, with intimidating, silly posturing, "take your hands out of your trouser pockets" ... ... we all have respect in the current situation and keep the rules, but it's about presumptuousness and going crazy what you don't have to put up with. We didn't understand how a restaurateur can behave in such an unprofessional manner.

Extremely insolent manager, dirty tables, dirty public toilets, as the local does not have its own. Not recommendable. There are better alternatives in Westpark.

Extreme unfriendly boss, who even insult his customers because of the complain about the mice in his restaurant terrace, his reply was in German “Was erwarten Sie, wir sind ja im Westpark” :((( That was definitely my last visit to that restaurant, I’d rather sped my money in other friendlier host. The one star is for the friendly waiter!

The restaurant owner no longer values ​​his customers. Children were penalized for going to the bathroom without a mask. The owner threatened to call the police at the first warning. Went to Westpark for a nice walk and thought to start off with some breakfast. Ordered a Bavarian breakfast (ham and cheese) and two boiled eggs, nothing complicated. Took about 25 minutes for the breakfast to arrive, while the eggs were finally cancelled since kitchen could not cope - two boiled eggs! A half hearted explanation, no apology, and of course we pay full price for the half delivered goods. It's just bad standards and service. Not worth. Can't recommend this place. Go to the nearby beer garden instead!

The manager was very cheeky and rude. Which could also explain the bad mood of the waiters. Although it tasted good, we would never come back or recommend it.

I celebrated my birthday here and I have to say that I am very happy to have found this restaurant. The location and the restaurant itself are simply stunning! The service was very nice and accommodating. The food was a feast and tasted great Overall, I am more than happy to have come here and I will definitely come back again

Looking for Munich's best yeast dumplings, we came across this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. Even if the inn looked rather modest from the outside in the dark, it was very cozy and nicely decorated inside. We also found the prices reasonable. We even consider going back tomorrow: D

The service guy we had was terrible. Messed up the drink sizes, then messed up the dishes which forced us to do after each other and not at the same time because they prepared the wrong dish. We didn't even get an apology from him. Also the wait wasn't worth it, taste was just alright. Needed more salt for sure. In summer it also gets very warm and heated beneath the shades due to the bad air flow. Overall a bad experience. Sad to say this for such a nice area.

Very nice place and very good food

A very nice place to organise an event / celebration.

Nice Bavarian place that tries to stand out with some "fusion" dishes (e.g. Lebkuchen mousse). However: the Röstis were cold and hard and the risotto, inedible. None of us liked it at all. Service was very good and they immediately offered something else instead. Vegetables were excellent. Meat and fish looked good.

Ambience was great, service was fast and dishes (at least the ones we ordered) are reasonably priced. Location was also strategic, ideal for park visitors. We both liked what we ordered. We went there on a Saturday, around 3pm so it was not that busy.

Nice location, especially in sunny days. However, the staff is extremely SLOW, rude and unprofessional. Asked for two dishes at 11:40 and after 30 minutes was told that it was not possible to have them. I ordered again and waiter another 30 minutes with the staff (again) not listening to our requests. In the meanwhile, many guests were treated with bad manners, just in front of us. Furthermore the waiter took a tip without even asking. Will not come back in the future! Unreliable and RUDE!

Had a very bad experience there. My husband got no food for a long time, then the wrong food and the same again. When I got angry about it, the manager/owner got very rude, shouting loudly at me. Avoid this place! They do not value the customers.

When going for the restroom I was told very rudely that it is for customers of the restaurant only and not for guests of the Biergarten (which belongs to the restaurant). There is a 50 cent charge for the restrooms at the Biergarten. Considering the high prizes I find it very rude to be declassed for being a "only" a Biergarten guest. A sad example of catastrophic bavarian service. Shame on you!

The restaurant is cozy and has nice atmosphere, with wooden walls, tables and chairs and plants hanging from above. It's just a bit pricey, compared to the average Bavarian restaurant in town. I bet the Biergarten is quite nice as well. Will check it out next Summer.

The worst service EVER! Rude and totally arrogant waiter (easy to recognize - with too much hair gel on his head). We were together with friends, decided to stay at the table outside. Very few people around... We were waiting like 30 min for waiter's reactions. He came totally angry that we are impatient! At the moment we start to order, he left us... just like that! with no comment... We just left the place and decided never to come back! Do not waste your time on this restaurant, there are really good places around..

I think it is a nice place and has good food for a relaxing weekend experience. The view is really amazing and the whole atmosphere is somewhat romatic. I visited this place just once in a pretty crowded autumn Sunday, but I would definitely give it a try next year in spring-summer day.

Unbelievably bad service. The waiter was extremely rude, I have never encountered such a behavior is any other restaurant. Hard to believe he is still employed, making the restaurant lose clients.
